In job website, people can have an overview of a job, companies' information and decide what job to apply. Sunway Berhad utilizes job website to generate applicants but many of them maybe unqualified. However, it still one of the useful ways as there will be a large chance which competent applicant will see this recruitment and join the company. In order to reduce unqualified applicants, the company may provide more details and responsibilities of the job for reference of applicants so that they will know if they are not qualified for this job.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Examples: jobstreet.com, Linked in, Indeed and malaysiaofw.com, monster.com </li></ul><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

Company website always contains details of the company such as mission, vision, history, core values, and background. Sunway Berhad chooses interview as the method to select employees. By interviewing candidates, it provides company more information and qualification of the candidates as the resume gives limited information about the candidates. In the interview process, human resources department has chances to ask the question and observe the candidates’ gestures which shows if the candidates are confidence or not. According to all staff, there is few common interview question asked by human resources department. </li></ul><div> </div><div>Examples: <br>1. Can you tell me about yourself?</div><div>2. Why do you want this job?</div><div>3. Why should we hire you?</div><div>4. What do you consider to be your weaknesses?</div><div>5.          <description><![CDATA[<div>During the 1980s, Malaysia was one of the biggest contributor and producer to the world of tin mining. Tin mining was also the contributing a lot to the economy of Malaysia. A place which is now known as Sunway City was once a tin mining wasteland. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Jeffrey Cheah AO, Founder, and Chairman of Sunway Berhad had an innovative idea to turn a tin mining wasteland into what is now known as Sunway Berhad. Tin mining wasteland has a lot of water gather in it. So Mr. Jeffery Cheah turned it into Sunway Lagoon which was the first step to Sunway Berhad. Later, he decided to open a university called Sunway University. In the early 1990s, Sunway Berhad decided to form Sunway Group which covers 12 types of business divisions. These business divisions are Construction, Property, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, Leisure, Retail, Trading &amp; Manufacturing, Commercial, Building Materials, Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and Quarry. In 1996 and 1997, Sunway Berhad decided to start up a hotel and a shopping mall called Sunway Resort Hotel &amp; Spa and Sunway Pyramid. Both this construction is connected to each other and they are the main income contribution to Sunway Berhad. Sunway Berhad had a big turning point when Sunway Medical Centre was constructed. </div>]]></description>

Command group is the group which members have different goals, exist to share information and has a leader. In Sunway REIT, Dato’ Jeffrey Ng Tiong Lip is the leader of the team of managers as he is Chief Executive Officer. He leads all the manager in the company and conducts meetings with managers, assigns tasks to each manager and makes sure they are on the right track. In meetings, the members discuss problems they faced and the leader decides what to do. Command group usually has neutral and negative synergy as the members have different goals.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em><mark>Self-managed team </mark></em></strong></div><ul><li>In Sunway REIT, there is a self-managed team such as internal audit team which has 4 members. Auditors’ works are checking company accounts to make sure it is accurate and analyze financial statements. After that, they have to prepare the financial report for reference of the management team and advise them based on their analysis. All members are individual and mutually accountable. They work together in examine company accounts and overlook each other’ work to prevent errors and frauds. As a self-managed work team, internal audit team does not have the manager, all the members manage themselves and have similar skills. The self-managed team normally has positive synergy as every member has the same goal. </li></ul>]]></description>
