"All means All" and for the most part we all believe in that saying but, it is really hard when it is felt that putting students with high needs in the the regular ed classroom is a way to make them "successful", are we really though? We need to meet them where their "all" is not where everyone else's "all" is. It's been a struggle to deal with students with higher need levels and in which then exhibit extreme behaviors in the regular education classroom due to being lost in the cirruculum

I am hoping to be inspired and motivated towards education in general. It has not been easy and I don't foresee it getting easier anytime soon. I would like our district to look at their inclusive practices and to think about if ALL students needs are being met right now.

I am hoping to get guidance on what inclusion looks like in the classroom. Right now, I feel like I don't know how to service my students in a way that is necessarily inclusive or the most successful for them. A lot of our 'inclusion' is really push into the classroom but do something else that is related to IEP goals. I'm also interested in learning if IEP goals need to change to fit the inclusion model?

I want to learn the balance of inclusion- getting my students what they need to be successful for themselves, but still giving them the core content in the classroom. I work with a lot of students who are non-speaking and are likely qualifying for the alternate standards/assessments so I'm really curious how to work better for them... but also work smarter, not harder.

I'm hoping to learn how to meet my students needs in the classroom instead of doing other activities to meet the IEP goals. What does it look like for ALL services including OT, PT, and Speech.

I enjoyed the choice board of interests. I think this would be beneficial for not just learning who our students are but also finding motivation, rewards, etc.

I love that in order to gather the interests of a student who communicates differently is by gathering the info from the family/friends of that person and then making a choice board. That was amazing!

I really liked the choice board of interests for students. I also really liked the student interest sheet...this could you also use on ALL students.

The identity form… we do something similar at the beginning of the year, but we forget about it this time of year. I’m excited to bring it back up and work with the general Ed teacher on it to better service all the diversity in her room.
