In October 1815 after leaving prison, he went to the Bishop's house and stayed to sleep but he stole some silver plates and candlesticks. Javert came to look for it but the bishop lied to him saying that he gave it to Jean Valjean. He sold the silver plates and bought a factory to give people work. he made a promise to Fantine to take care of Cossete. He went to the thenadiers' house to rescue it because Cossete was in poor condition and he bought it for 1,500 francs. Since I adopted her, they became like father and daughter, they lived happily and worked as a gardener at the boarding school that Cossete goes to. After 9 years living on Rue Plumet in Paris. She falls in love with a boy named Marius they see each other every summer night, then Jean Valjean and Cossete have to go to England because they saw Javert near the house, before leaving the revelion is formed Jean Valjean shows Javert that he has no grudge against him and helps him no matter how bad he did to him.
