This is one of the foods from our Mexican culture. It's called Pozole. We usually only make it on special occasions. My family makes it on Thanksgiving or Christmas. It is known to be for winter food.

This is one of the events related to my religion. This event was hosted in Mexico to celebrate El Santo Nino's birthday. Every year, there's always festivals to celebrate saints birthday.

Our language is Spanish. But it's Mexican Spanish not like the Spain Spanish. The difference between those is the slangs and wording that they use. Mexican Spanish uses a lot of slangs.

If you were from the south of Mexico, you probably seen people dress up like this. You could also see people dress up like this in the United States, not all people dress up like this but this is from my region.

Traditions

There is many traditions but the one tradition I love in my Mexican culture is the quinceaneras. It is a privilege as Mexican women to be able to celebrate it. It is for women who turns 15 and in the Mexican community, it means that they're becoming into a young adult.

We were at a mini quince party, and celebrate it through dancing and wishing her a good 15 birthday. How this is related through my culture is the bonding and the tradition of a quinceanera.
