The National Council of Social Studies replied that learning about different religions is " necessary for effective and engaged citizenship and a diverse nation and world" Tennessee is currently in the process of changing its standards.

In my article on Facebook’s nudity policy many users of Facebook were banned or scolded for posting contemporary art consisting of nudity. Some of the pieces were even classics from the medieval ages. Deleting the pictures off Facebook not only offends the user but also the person who created the piece of art. Art historian, Kathy Shnapper has dedicated January 15, to be the day that all appreciators of art fight back against their nudity policy, by posting their favorite art pieces depicting nude figures.
