In chapter 1 of the integrated Math 2CPM Textbook, we learned how to solve Area Models. First, We multiplied the numbers from the outside. Then, we put the numbers that we multiplied and put them inside the Area model. Finally, We took the numbers inside the Area Model and put them outside of it, and combined like terms if any of the numbers that were the same like 12X and -10X giving us the product of the Area Model. This connect to the probability Area model since it also involves multiplying.

In chapter 2 of the integrated Math 2CPM Textbook, We learned how to find the scale factor of a shape. First, We labeled both of the shapes as Old and New. Then, we put the numbers and the X into 2 fractions. Finally, We cross multiplied the fractions giving us 576/6 dividing 576 by 6 gives us 96 giving us the scale factor of the missing side length. This connects to Sin, Cos, and Tan because they all involve multiplying and division.

In chapter 3 of the integrated Math 2CPM Textbook, We learned to solve probability with Area models. First, We put the fractions on the outside of the Area Model so that we don't get confused. Then we multiply the fractions with the ones on the left first then we go to the right doing so. Finally, Multiplying the numbers gives us a decimal which represents the probability of winning or getting an item, for example, Zack had a survival rate of 64.41% the reason we knew this was that we added up the 4 percentages. This connects to the Area Models we did in Chapter 1 because both involve multiplying only the difference being we use fractions in Chapter 3.
