In each episode, the protagonist tries to make this hospital a safe place where you can get cured even without having insurance, despite the fact that he has cancer.          We also find the TV series ''Dr. House’’, where this one is the head of a diagnostic medicine group. In each episode we find his team ready to solves the various medical cases.                          The TV series I would like to focus on is ''Grey's Anatomy'', one of my favorite medical TV series. It describes a surgery resident and the companions she finds alongside her in the early years of medical training. It speaks about the friendships that arise and above all the competition and the desire to do better. In each episode of the first seasons we find the 5 trainees supported by a doctor called ''THE NAZI''. We find Meredith Grey (the protagonist), Alex Karev, Cristina Yang, George O’Malley and Izzie Stevens. The last one is catapulted into an hospital of great importance, located in Seattle, where all the characters  competing  each other  to enter into the operating room, to assist in the trauma that comes with ambulances and to treat serious injuries. They all have different potentials, and as we move forward in the other seasons we will see these trainees become doctors that have choosen the surgery department that suits them best.  In the last season of this TV series, we will find the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital fighting against Covid-19, talking about the lockdown situation experienced in hospitals durind the period of March/April 2020, where patients and doctors find themselves facing with serious problems for patients and especially for themselves.

According to me the other person comes first than me, so I chose to take up a profession that affirms this. For me, the figure of the nurse is just that, doing HIS work as sell as he can,  with his experience he can cure his patient and do his best to make them feel good. When I ended up my first internship I was sure that this profession was the one for me. I always felt that I wanted to take this path, since I was 7 years old, because  my parents are both nurses, and I spent my childhood playing with the gauze I used to bandage the wounds of soft toys, bandages and some tools used in the hospital. I spent summers in the clinic where my mother worked, and I was used to watch her measuring saturation for her colleagues and blood pressure for my grandparents.                                                 In a certain sense, however, I can say that I was influenced by what i was used to ear by my parents about what in the Hospital happened, and i have to confess that all of those stuffs have always  captured my attention.

He often had episodes of vomiting, and in addition not being able to eat, he also had a nasogastric tube. He was a very sweet 10 year old boy, he never complained even though he were used to not always feel very well. One thing about him that struck me a lot was that he loved doing word puzzles. I spent every free moment I had with him because I knew that he felt a little lonely and I noticed that my company cheered him up a little, also because we started doing puzzle puzzles together. I wanted to make a nice gesture towards him so I asked him what he wanted to eat after removing the tube and he said he would really like a Kinder chocolate bar, so I thought I'd bring him one the next day so he could eat it when he whenever he wanted. At the beginning of the internship I was very shy, I didn't know how to approach patients and their parents and they tried as much as possible to make me '' unblock '' this shyness and they succeeded. Communication is also a very important element of this profession and if it hadn't been for them, I probably wouldn't have been able to be what I became in the following months and still during my internship. In addition to this, they taught me a lot of things at the nursing level but also about all the diagnoses of the patients, they were always ready to answer and give me other information for any question or doubt. I will never thank them enough for teaching me what I know now and above all for helping me approach with patient. During the months in which I did an internship, I have always been supported and still I am by the very good tutors/nurses, who at each procedure are ready to explain me the procedures to me and why a specific procedure will be carried out.
I therefore think that being supported by tutors over the years as students is essential.
So yes, in a future I would like to become a tutor and teach what I learned thanks to the other nurses and the experiences I lived.
And maybe one day the student that I'll have by my side, he will remember what I taught him and also he'll remember all the tips I gave him.

So, she thought that her pet dog could visit her in the hospital and it seems that the patient recovered emotionally, in fact she started smiling and talking again. It is believed that for many patients their pets are a very useful motivational therapy and an owner which sees his own dog could really make a difference.
Infact, in Canada they tried various experiments on this topic, where pets visit their owners (children) and it seems that the patients really develop a good mood after visiting their animals. So, they claim that their pets are therapeutic and help the patient emotionally.

One that cannot be missing to be a nurse is patience, but above all empathy. Personally, I think that the nurse should really empathize with their patient, trying to fully understand his wishes. Kindness in my opinion is also a very important fact, both if the person that a nurse cure has serious pathologies or not. He will always need comfort and kindness. I think that patients, especially in this period, feel very lonely, due to the pandemic, hospital visits are not always allowed and not seeing much of their loved ones, they need a little company.
I honestly don't know if I am a good nurse or not, I try  do my best by always being kind and patient, for example sometimes I spend much more time with them to create a contact by  making a simple chitchat. So they can see me as a friend or a person they can trust.

At the beginning of my internship in this department, I had been joined by another nurse because Chiara was on leave. After a week she returned to the ward, she initially tested me, to understand what I was capable of doing and not doing. At first she didn't give me much autonomy, but that's normal, because she still had to figure out if I was capable of doing certain things. Over time he started to gain trust in me and left me a lot of autonomy, and personally, I think he had the right approach, since in the third year I have to be able to do almost everything, because in a year I will be alone in the ward, without a tutor to assist me. This thing has made me grow a lot, because I have seen what this profession is like and I will use all the knowledge acquired during these three years (like how to behave in different situations) one day when I will be a real nurse. Chiara, among other things, was always available to answer all my questions and to help me when I asked her for help, or when she saw me in difficulty. There was a good understanding between us, and she left me a beautiful memory that she will never forget.
