We therefore selected an appropriate font which closely matched that used by the original magazine, changing the colour so that it was two-tone. Obviously we will do specific shoots for this cover as well as for our poster yet this is just an example to illustrate the effect the cover will have. We feel this still looked effective due to the leaves and trees shown contrasting the  red title which is also carried through into the red bricks shown in the image. We added text using the font w cen mc condensed which we used for both a pull quote and secondary text. By using a pull quote, we feel that it would draw the readers into the article and gives the film positive professional critique. This is another method seen in all of our researched magazines as it gives a product credibility, making the audience more likely to go out and watch the film. As well as this, the secondary text 'The resurrection, a film comment interview' gives the audience an idea as to what the magazine feature is and the format in which it is being discussed - again making it easier for audiences to identify what they will be buying. 

We also added a barcode to the bottom right corner of the image. This is necessary in order to make our magazine cover look as real as possible. 

Overall we think that our magazine draft was a success as it included all main marketing features that will pull our audiences in, whilst still reflecting the simplicity of the real film comment magazine, for example in our use of a small white border which contrasts the central image. We feel that this will be an effective layout for our final draft of the magazine however we do hope to make a few changes in the process.

As seen in the image above, the smaller text is hard to read due to its thin lines which gives the impression that the text is blurry.
