He was selfish and ignorant. He found a new owner half way through the story,then went to an antique store for toys that are valuable. At the end of the story his old owner came into the antique with her little girl.  I like this book beacause Greg uses a magic eight ball to  decide wether to hand in his homework. But the magic eight ball says No so he gets in trouble.
He had a toy monkey and he lost it on holiday when he was little but when he got home his monkey was there to and a couple of years later he finds his mums secret stash of his monkey.

Sky Chaser because it's about the time when girls didn't have an education. It's also about the time when it was a race against England to create an object that can fly. This book is about a thief called Magpie and her pet rooster. This story is set in France.

The Girl Who Walked On Air is my favourite because it's about an orphan girl who had to live in a circus, she witnesses accidents she's not supposed to. She risks her life to go to who she feels is her family ( the circus). You can really communicate with her. I think that this was the best story Emma Carroll ever wrote!

In Darkling Wood is one of my favourites because it's like a Si-fi story with a girl from works war 2 and her tale of how she coped. There is also another girl whose 4 year old younger brother is in hospital because his heart is failing so she has to stay with her grandmother ( who she's never meet ) in the country. She thinks her world is over because there is no wifi, Internet, tv or phone chargers.
