Jane only reluctantly became queen and that led to her execution. She actually was fifth in line but was favoured because she was protestant. </div>]]></description>

After the death of Queen Elizabeth, he succeeded the English throne. During his reign, he achieved peace by ending England's war with Spain. James died at a hunting lodge suffering a stroke.</div>]]></description>
