This initiative, funded by the Drapers Fund for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, focuses on improving assessment accuracy, feedback quality, and educator workload through AI-driven grading solutions.

My background is in Chemistry and Materials Science, and I am interested in digital pedagogy, collaborative assessment design, and AI literacy. I’m passionate about exploring ethical, transparent, and scalable AI integrations in higher education assessment.

Hi all, Jim Harris, Learning Designer at the University of Northampton (10 years) supporting academic staff across all disciplines with curriculum and learning design interventions through the Creating Aligned Interactive educational Resource Opportunities (CAIeRO) process.

My role sees me spanning everything from AI Agents to promoting Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and am currently focusing on reviewing Assessment Loads across UK HE institutions to try and create meaningful guidance on optionality and flexibility in assessments aligned with reasonable adjustments and assessment equivalency.

I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Liverpool. My background includes extensive experience with online assessment and feedback in higher education, and over the past couple of years, I have been exploring the role of AI in enhancing assessment and feedback practices.
