Roy Bowser Jr. is licensed to manage claims in 28 states and maintains State Farm certifications in fire, property, and auto. Prior to his work in insurance, Roy Bowser Jr. was a chief master sergeant in the United States Air Force (USAF) who executed tasks to support executive leadership at various facilities over the course of 10 years. He last served the USAF as guest services specialist at the General Jacob E. Smart Conference Center, prior to which he worked as assistant to the director at the facility. He also worked as assistant to the director for strategic plans and operations at the Pentagon and acted as chief enlisted manager for the 48th Communications Squadron in the United Kingdom. In the latter role, Roy Bowser Jr. oversaw the professional development and welfare of more than 200 military officers and civilians. He also led a $29 million navigation-aide operation for a trio of airfields, directed a $2.6 million Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems project, and guided a $7.5 million enterprise radio project. He was named Enlisted Aide of the Year in 2006 while serving Gen. William R. Looney III. In addition, he earned several USAF Achievement and Meritorious Service Medals.
