An internationally minded person is open-minded about the common humanity of all people and accepts and respects other cultures and beliefs. The internationally minded person takes action through discussion and collaboration to help build a better and peaceful world. International understanding increases knowledge of other cultures and promotes a concern for global environmental issues.
2.  Connection across cultures is a crucial component in fostering empathy on a global scale. As such, broadening one’s horizons and stepping out of your own experience is essential in order to develop empathy for others.  Global citizenship is more of a mindset of an individual. Being a global citizen simply means a willingness to do this with people from different nations and cultural backgrounds. Fighting for human rights and economic development is great, but it should be a side effect of feeling like a member of the international community, of being a global citizen.
3. Helping Biology students develop the understanding of international mindedness can be achieved by encouraging the students to work in collaboration with different schools around the world for completing their projects and assignment. Our students understand that we have responsibility to look after the planet earth and understanding the life on this planet. We can tell them the importance of international understanding by quoting examples of international collaboration in different field of biology to achieve success. Example-  
 
1) Cooperation and collaboration between groups of scientists—scientists use the binomial system to identify a species rather than the many different local names.
 2) Demonstrate an appreciation of human diversity and an awareness of how biology can help develop an understanding and respect for people with different perspective, values and culture.
3) Providing the practical examples that illustrate how the present day ideas developed in time and how the biological knowledge influences how we think about other spheres of life.

4.  international mindedness means adopting a certain value system of kindness, tolerance and acceptance of multiple viewpoints.  Since our school is home to learners of various nationalities, students have many chances to learn and grow. Our students have the opportunity to spend time with other children from around the world who have grown up immersed in a range of cultures, traditions and opinions. Being in a multicultural environment is not unusual for our students, and they quickly become empathetic to others views and opinions. Technology plays an important role in international mindedness, too.  
New fields like bioengineering are bringing culturally diverse thinkers together to solve global problems on a global scale. It may be the case that in the past, they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to work together, but with the technology that is available to us these days, the world can feel smaller.  That's why today's students need to be more than digitally fluent; they also need to be technologically ethical and able to work collaboratively with colleagues from around the world. They need to learn to understand other peoples’ opinions and empathise with different points of view.

5. Strategy to situate the international mindness of the biology during class discu. ssion and by providing the practical examples that illustrates how the present day ideas developed in time and how the biological knowledge influences how we think about other spheres of life.

6. Asking students to bring articles of various research done in different parts of the world that illustrates interdisciplinary biological knowledge ( art, architecture, medicine etc.) . Students to be asked to reflect on what are their plans to integrate elements of biology in their future career.
