They were never obligated to show any remorse to seek forgiveness. This was the beginning of this myth called the “ rainbow nation”. There was no land distribution in any form and special racism still lives amongst us everyday. We see how majority of the population that lives in places like constancia are predominantly “white” people, places like Mitchell’s plain the are only “coloured” people and in places like Khayelitsha are predominantly “black” this is the exact same distribution that was set in the apartheid system. As for the whole ,home situating issue ,I really don't feel like we can blame the whites or anyone for that matter coz Iean ,anyone can make it to the top with enough determination. Yes I know it's hard to do so especially with the fact that most companies are owned by white ppl and sometimes they can be choosy with hiring. But let's also speak truth ,slowly but surely black people are filling the coloured areas and who knows ,soon we might find ourselves filling the white areas. Eerste River for example ,you could only find maybe 10 houses owned by black pplz and now there are more than 100 black families living in Eerste River. It is great to witness the different religions and cultures in our everyday lives. While we have a diverse group of people I still don't think all of us are treated equally. We are treated according to our race. I wish that all people could stand together to transform the inequality amongst our people to equality.
