I do know someone who changed their life for the better, that person is my mom. My mom came to the US at age 18 with my sister who was 3 at the time to find a better life. She started working three jobs trying to provide for her now 2 daughters. After having my other sister she started to change her life around she got her cosmetology license and found a way better job that paid way more.
