         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>descriptive detail/imagery: stanza 6, lines 1,2,5, and 6. The desolate lands around the mice show how cruel Burns's actions were. Mixed with the starting description where the small mice was shown, Burns left a tiny mouse out to die in the harsh cold.<br><br>Burns's actions led to a harsh consequence for someone else. That feeling of guilt accompanied with his action is something that will stick with him forever.<br><br>It also shows the unpredictability of life itself. The mouse's life changed in a second in a disaster caused by man. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>
