1.) The "Dance of the Lemons" is a term used to appoint the low-graded teachers to new schools or districts, instead of them being kicked out of their jobs.

2.) Teachers are sent to rubber-rooms. They are not doing their jobs like they're suppose to do. They spend three years in the rubber rooms or reassignment center. They're in there for 7 hours a day, playing cards or reading newspapers. Six-hundred of them were sent to the Rubber rooms. The officials can't fire them, despite of all this, because they've their ten years.

3.) A proposed solution to these multiple issues related to education that are represented in the documentary, is that to create charter schools. Charter schools that should have very responsible and qualified teachers and/or principal to guide the students through their success throughout their school years.
In the documentary, it showed that the solution was to fire all the "irresponsible" principles and shut down schools that weren't meeting the education or school expectations. These schools receive money to make it a better learning environment, but the unqualified people hired don't do their job of educating the young generation, which is supposedly the future of the United States.

A proposed solution for these multiple issues is that we need more charter schools and interview the teachers before the hire them or look in their background to see their teaching experience. these solutions are important because we do need a good right amount of teachers that care about the students and that will give the education they need and deserve. the students need teachers that care about their education so their are many solutions to these actions. charter schools should be the 1st option because the teachers love to teach and their will be a better chance that your students will learn , have good reading scores, etc. the students will get a better education because charter schools is a better education system

Teachers are sent to the Rubber Room because of the bad stuff that they have caused in the classroom for example abuse, or just didn't care about the students' future.

3.) Some solutions to the issues connected to education would be to make sure they know who the teachers are or to look at the teacher's past jobs before giving them the job. Schools should all work together to get a plan so they can be equal in both money and the way teachers teach the students.

1.) The "Dance of the lemons" is when bad teachers are tossed around or schools exchange bad teachers to see if they get a better result instead of firing them.
2.) The teachers in New York who have been "removed from the classroom" but not yet fired are required to go to the rubber room because they're just bad teachers. It could be because they don't teach the students right or they have broken a law and will face charges.
3.) A proposed solution to the multiple issues connected to education that are seen represented in this documentary is to kick out all of the bad teachers because if we did we will be closer to how Finland is doing academically. We could shut down the bad schools and keep the good schools so everyone will be able to progress equally.

Peer review Stephanie
1. What I think about the "Dance of the Lemons" is that I find it really absurd on the way that many teachers that have been abusing and doing things wrong don't get fired bit get sent to another school. Like on the way I see it is that if a teacher is bad then is most likely to be bad in another school.
2. Reading through my peers answers I agree on the way that she mentions her solution that they should check on the teachers and have to check on them which it does seem effective for something like this.
