Russia, France and Britain formed the triple entente, while Austria-Hungary, Germany and Italy formed the triple alliance. However, Italy stayed out of the war.

 Poppies are used to remember the soldiers who fought in world war one. 
Remembrance poppies were inspired by a poem called "In flander's field" . They were one of the only flowers who would grew on the battlefields
