In 1970 fashionwas  used as a way to express yourself, or to make a statement. A popular style was known as the hippie style. This style was used to make a statement about peace and loving who you please. In the 70’s any kind of same sex relationship we’re forbidden. 

Eugene Gordon was an African-American journalist, editor, fiction writer, and social activist. He helped founded and edited the Harlem Renaissance literary magazine.

A group of women come together to march for women rights.  Especially those in Vietnam who are being abused, physically, emotionally and sexually.  Approximately 10,400 Vietnamese women have been sold to China to be wives, maids, prostitutes to Chinese men. Women believe they deserve equal rights and to be treated equally as men.
