They will babble and write about what they are babbling, I think this is imitation, since I am a list maker, my daughters were always making lists.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Letters and the Transitional Stage</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>My observations include children trying to sound out what they are writing, they then used the letters they knew to try and write the word, they were often correct when it come to starting letter and the ending letter, the rest of the word is more challenging.  However, they do try, and sounds help them to place letters.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students that I have observed in this stage, will write out full sentences to create a story or summary. They are often not good spellers yet, and struggle with this, a lot of times the teacher will tell them to continue writing and correct spelling after they have finished.</div>]]></description>
