Take part in promotional events in local health care providers

Take part in meetings with School & College staff

Deliver preparation sessions to those thinking of applying for health & social care courses 

Work at most open days and always wear my name badge
Introduce myself to staff I've not met and try to chat for a while at open days etc

Try to dress 'professionally' at work

Oh, and attend Raising Your Profile events :-)

Happy to retweet but want to have the confidence to share my thoughts on subjects rather than just sharing someone else's ideas.

Aware that other HEI's are using social media effectively not only in recruitment campaigns but actually information that will engage  students and the general public.

Looking forward to this session and getting rid of the anxiety in using social media in a professional context. Have a LinkedIn profile which is up to date. Research gate has basic info but I'm sure I could be using it better.

I got into a good habit of writing blogs when conducting fielwork for PhD but have not done so for past year or so, something i would like to resume.
