ELC REPORT

 

ASSIGNMENT : Create a fun games for the classmates.

   I was given by a lecturer to do some games in the class regarding listening and speaking. Then I was divided by group of five person in each groups and conduct the games on week 4. Time limit for the games is one hour and a half. I have made some fun games to be conduct in the class. The classmates get to choose five member for their team. There are three teams will be play the games. 

    For the first game, I decided to do the whisper challenge. This games is where the player will listen to the loud music through their earphones and the teammates have to say the sentences for the players but they to lip read only. There are three round for the whisper challenge and also the sentences that players have to listen carefully and wrote the sentences on the whiteboard.

    After that, for the second game I was doing the spelling bee. The teams will remain the same but this time they have to listen and remember carefully to the words that been given by host. They need to be alert for the words given.

    And for the last game is musical chair. Before do the games, they need to move the tables and required fourteen chairs only circling around the class then they need to stand beside the against teams. After that, the host will be played the music and start circling around the chairs. The teams who has the most on the last is the winner. The host will decided who teams will win by the points they get from the previous games also. The teams with less point will get the punishment at the end of the games. The punishment is they need to take the ugliest pictures of their faces.

   In conclusion, what I learned from this game is be confident to speak in English even its not so fluent. The classmates also need to cooperate with the host of the game and try to make the games more fun.

They get to choose five member for their team. 

    For the first game, Me and my group decided to do the whisper challenge. This games is where the player need to come to the front then the player will listen to the loud music through the earphones and the teammates have to say the sentences for the players but the player only can read through their lip only. There are three round for the whisper challenge and also the sentences that players have to read the teammates lip carefully and wrote the sentences on the whiteboard.

    Next, for the second game Our group is doing the spelling bee for the player. The teams will remain the same but this time they have to listen and remember carefully to the words that been given by host. They need to be alert and fast to write it down to the whiteboard for the words given.

    Lastly, Our group is doing a musical chair. Before the games start, they need to move the tables to the side and required fourteen chairs only circling around the class then they need to stand beside each other against the teams. After that, the host will be played the music and they start circling around the chairs. The teams who has the most point on the last game is the winner. The host will give the answer who teams will win by the points they get from the previous games. The teams with the less point will get the punishment at the end of the games. The punishment is they need to take the ugliest pictures of their faces.

   In conclusion, what I learned from this game is be confident to speak in English. The classmates also need to cooperate with the host of the game and try to make the games more fun and the player who play the games will know how to do a teamwork and focus to host instruction.

A REPORT OF ACTIVITY THAT CONDUCT IN CLASS 

 

Each week from week 1 till week 5 my classmates and I had been separated into a group of 5. We required to present the games infront of the class and explained the game in detailed. All of our classmates need to participated in the game that we have conducted. The games that my groupmates and I have conducted were a games called “Celebrity Name Game”, “Truth or Dare”, “Can you guess the lyrics to these songs?”.The intention of this games is to teach us how to use proper english and how to speak english fluently.

        On 16th of January 2018, my group and I conducted an activities that called Tongue Twister Game, Shut Up and Sit Down Game, Dictation Game. I would like to tell about the conclusion that we get of the three games that my group and I conducted. Firstly, the benefits of tounge twister is the strengthen and stretch the mucles involved in speech. This exercise leads to clearer pronunciation and helps rectify some of the hardest sounds. Secondly, in dictation game , we have examined the benefits and problems associated with dictation as well as explored some variations on the traditional approach. Dictation doesn't work for everything or for everyone, but by looking again at this traditional method we can add to our classroom techniques a touch of the familiar with a little innovation. Shut up and sit down game is for strengthen the mind and helps students to think faster. This game will teach students to being alert and more confident to theirselves.

So, I was divided into a group of five and conduct the class on week 4.  My group had discussed some fun games to play in the class. My classmates get to choose five members for their team, so, there are three teams that will play the games. 

            For the first game, I decided to do whisper challenge. One of the members in each team which will be known player 1, will listen to loud music through their earphones and the teammates have to say the sentences given but the player 1 need read the teammates’ lips only and wrote the sentences on the whiteboard. There will be three round for this game and the sentences given that players have to listen carefully. 

            Next, for the second games I did spelling bee. The teams will remain the same but this time they have to listen and remember carefully to the words given from the host. They need to be alert for the words given and wrote the word on the whiteboard. 

            For the last game were musical chairs. In this game, it is required fourteen chairs and arranged it in circle. Then, the host will turn on the music and the team need to start circling around the chairs. The team who had the most teammates in last round wins the game. The host will decide who the winner is by totalling up all the points from the previous games for each team. The team who got the least out of other teams will get punishment at the end of the games. The punishment was they need to take the ugliest pictures of their faces. 

            In conclusion, from this activities, I’ve learned that I gain to be more confident to speak in English while explaining the games and the rules in front of people. 

Its been 4 weeks me and my classmate in class doing this game.I would like to agree this game because it was really helpfull to me and my classmates to make a improvement in English especially when we are using ENGLISH for speaking,reading,communication and others things related to English.Me and my group decided to choose 3 different games to play. 

The first game is (Tongue Twister).This game we give them a short sentence to read.The first person need read the sentence and memorise it.After read the sentence the first person need to tell their friend until the last person.The last person need to write the sentence on the whiteboard.Lastly,the group write the correct sentences is the winner. 

The second game is (Sit Down And Shut Up).This game we just need all the classmates to stand up with their group.Then,me and my team will give the question,then the classmates need to raise up the hand and give the correctly answer quickly.After finish answer the questions,that person need to sit down and shut up!!!. .Lastly,the one group who has finish early is the winner. 

The third game is (Dictation Game).This game the classmate each group need to line up in front of the whiteboard.Me and my team would pronouns the random “WORD” then the each group need to write the “WORD” on the whiteboard by each person by their group.The rules in this game is one letter for only one person to write the random “WORD” on the whiteboard untill completed the random “WORDS”.Lastly,the group who has finish write on the whiteboard with the correct “WORD” is the winner. 

The conclusion about this game has been conducted in my class is the spirit of teamwork that we have made.This game also can make a strengthen the bond of friendship in classmates.Lastly,the benefit of doing this game also improve our confident level and improve the language English skills.

ASSIGNMENT : CONDUCT CLASS WITH GAMES

   First ,on that day we intro ourselves rst and divide the group of 

two . The conduct class can get more benets from that class .

  The rst game that we conduct is ‘CHARADES’ it means guess the 

word on the people forehead . The benets of this game is we can 

describe without ac%on only speak in English . Second we can 

improve our communicate each other in group so we can speak 

be'er and be'er. 

    Second game is ‘Fill In The Blank’ which is the group members 

must be ll in the blank with random aphabets. The benets from 

this game is we can think easy word and improve our pronounca%on 

and wording . Also we can receive a new word that we do not know . 

    Last game is twister tongue. This game is for our pronounca%on 

about the word with fast beat.The game has many round so all of 

them must try it . 

  Conclusion ,the three games that our class par%cipate can improve 

everything which is speaking and listening and make each other 

close. Thank you .
