Today’s INSET session on “Connection Before Correction” was very meaningful. I learned that building a positive relationship with students should come before pointing out their mistakes or correcting their behavior. When students feel understood, respected, and supported, they respond better to feedback and discipline. I will try to apply this approach in my classroom by listening more to my students, showing empathy, and correcting them in a calm, respectful way.
