Humanistic Theory in motivation emphasizes personal growth, self-fulfillment, and the realization of one's potential. Humanistic Theory is championed by psychologists like Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers, Which suggests that individuals have an innate drive to achieve their highest level of performing and living a meaningful life. With Maslow's Hierarchy of needs, It is a key concept, proposing that people are motivated to fulfill basic needs such as food and shelter before pursuing higher needs such as love and self actualization. Humanistic Theory highlights the importance of free will and personal agency, viewing mundanes as inherently good and capable to overcome hardships (life).

Humanistic Theory focuses on you as a person as a whole along with your own unique experiences in life. Which provides a very holistic approach to understand motivation.

I'm actually torn between Social and Humanistic Theory. The reason why I say this is because on my Humanistic side i have a drive to achieve a meaningful life that i love. I want more and i strive for more when i feel like what i'm doing isn't enough. The challenge just sets me on fire. I love it! Then on the Social side i look for social connections and recognition with-in my job. I've always been insecure about myself and i get so anxious. Gaining these connections and recognition within my own capabilities make me want to work harder. Because i'm being seen for me and not someone else's connections. I find that to be very important as an individual. Especially being in a very competitive industry and profession

1.) Learn from your mistakes will be the biggest one! Having an understanding of what you messed up on. Acknowledge it and proceed forward to do better. Don't beat yourself up over it. It's easier said and done because i struggle with this badly. I have that perfectionist aspect of myself and i beat myself up over it and then i get really anxious. Don't do it dont be harsh on yourself. Make those mistakes because how else are you going to learn and grow? Let that mistake become your reason for growth. Because without your growth you become stagnant and lost in the what ifs and the could've dones

2.) When you become anxious and stressed because you have to many tasks. Make a to-do list of all of that needs to be accomplished and set a time frame of how long you think it will take you to complete that task. Because when you do this. You have a set time frame and goal to get your tasks done. When you finish your task, mark it off your to-do list. As you do this, you'll mind that it's less stressful and you become less anxious. I had to do this because as a chef i was operating 3 different areas. This method made everything a whole lot smoother than without it.
