This is a very good introduction

The distinctions that are to be made in the essay are clearly indicated, and in the final lines there 

is a clear thesis which is, presumably, to be explored in the body of the essay.

-iterating rather 

than exploring the issues, there is little credit; one would need to see som

unwise and confusing.

 last two lines, but these really say no more 

than “

I shall investigate the question”

. Some more detail, or a thesis, would help.

knowledge conflicts?  When we can, should we? 

For this latter question, I shall argue the answer 

is a surprising ‘no’.”
