Binary, denary  and hexadecimal are easy.
Networks are somewhat easy I just have to remember specific quirks about certain networks.

Penetration testing is when a white hat hacker is paid to find bugs and holes within the security system by attempting to penetrate the website and then repairing or resolving the problem(s).
