This Theory suggest that rewards can act as a source of motivation. This works in the same manner that we train our pets; not to sound degrading to anyone who is motivated in this way. Accomplishing goals so that way we may reward ourselves after reaching set goal. Going on calming strolls or enjoying a treat may be some examples of what people may reward themselves with.

This Theory suggests that changing your outlook on any subject or scenario can change it from a Negative outlook to a Positive one. Though this is easier said than done, simply changing you attitude to a Can-Do one will drastically change your perception. This will help you do things that you feel is impossible for you.

This Theory suggest that we are social creatures and we thrive on the support systems we have with the people who care for us. Our relationships that we have created can help motivate us to strive for more and even give us the confidence to do more. Friends, family, partners, social groups are all examples of these support groups that we make to help support us emotionally and materially.

This Theory suggest that we all have basic needs that need to met before we have reached the top; our Self-Actualization. Self-Actualization is our best selves, the person we want to be. However, to get here we need to satiate our basic needs. Food, Water, Clothing, Shelter, Stability, Friends, Respect, Appreciation, Attention, Growth, Morality, and Self-Fulfillment are some of the basic needs we need to climb the ladder to Self-Actualization.

Though all these motivations play a vital role in keeping me motivated, the Humanistic Theory is probably the most important to me. Making myself the priority is something I usually never do and there for I've spent most of my life unmotivated and unfulfilled. Accomplishing these need will allow me to have a strong motivational foundation to keep me resilient, and help me prosper in a very competitive scene like the film industry. Using this foundation, I'll be able to finish my degree and keep on fighting on until I'm successful. This is the motivation I need the most.

Breaking down tasks really helps me with my procrastination. A task that seems too daunting will make me put off doing it for awhile, but breaking it down makes it more manageable. Doing this will motivate me to keep up with my work and punch through to the next task.

I never really feel confident in taking test if I don't know the subject, so if I'm constantly monitoring myself then I can re-evaluate what it is I do and don't know. Taking that extra effort to go over what I learned will help me commit the lesson to memory. This will motivate me to keep doing what I'm doing with the high grade scores I'll get.
