I think what henrick said was true because if you don't know all the info you are not as scared.In the first chapter she wasn't scared to tell the soldier that this was her friend Ellen. So that is why I think what henrick said was true.

I think it is true because when the Nazi soldier asked Annmarie who died if she didn't find out that Aunt Birte was not real,she would have just been brave and said Aunt Birte.Another reason is that if she had told Ellen that Aunt Birte was not real she would have been really scared.

I think that what Uncle Henrik said was true because when the Nazi soldiers came in and asked why I the casket wasn't open. If Annemarie's mom knew what or who was actually inside maybe she wouldn't have been as brave to talk to the Nazi soldiers.

I think what Henrik said about being brave was true. My evidence is when Annemarie was racing with Ellen and was stopped by a German soldier to be asked questions. This proves me right because if Annemarie knew that the Nazis were going to take the Jews away she might have answered differently or she might not have answered at all. It IS easier to be brave when you don't know everything. I think what Henrik said about being brave was true.

When Uncle Henrik said It's easier to be brave when you don't know everything it's true to be brave when you don't know everything.My evidence is if Annemarie knew about the Nazis taking the Jews she would have act different when she talked to the Nazi in the first chapter she would not told who Ellen is I mean she would but differently.My evidence proves my answer because when she didn't knew that the Jews were being taken she would be brave.

I think that what Uncle Henrik said about being brave to Annemerrie was true because in the story, when the soldiers asked Annemerrie about Great Aunt Bert, it was harder for her to lie than to think she was telling the truth, making it a more stressful response than one with confidence without worrying they would find out they're lying. This proves that Uncle Henrik was right about being brave.

In the book Number the stars I believe what Henrick said is true. I think it is true because it has happened to me. I think he means that only knowing the easy parts of the truth is better than knowing the bad parts too. In the text Annemarie realizes that Birte isn't real so she confronts Henrick but he tells her no more of who is on the casket. This is likely because she could have told or because it was better to know that part.

I think what Uncle Henrik to Annemarie about being brave is true because when that soldier came up to that boy and asked doesn't the king have a bodyguard and that boy was brave enough to say "All of Denmark is his bodyguard. According to the text it says in that one chapter when her dad told her about what the boy said that was brave and in the chapter when Uncle Henrik said "it's easier to be brave when you don't know everything. The text says Annemarie was speechless when her uncle told her that.

I think what uncle Henrik said to Annemarie was true about being brave when you did not know exactly what was going on. For example if she knew everything she would have acted different in the first chapter and said " This is my sister and we wanted to practice racing for the competition this Friday." So if she new everything the story would be different and the solders on the corner would say "Well if she is your sister why is y'all's hair different colors?" And Annemarie would not know what to say so they would run off and tell mama and papa and papa would go grab the pictures and show the swatt but then the swat would say "Then why were the girls running from us did they not know what to say? Or are they trying to hide from us?"

I think what Henrik said was true. For example in the chapter Annemarie felt suspicious of who was inside the casket but she insisted to open it anyway. Normally you get the chance of being brave when you don't have all the info because knowing the situation will make you even more frightened . This is why I think What Hendrick said was true .

In the book, I think what Uncle Hennerick told Ann Marie is true. If she knew what was in the Casket, it would have been harder for her to lie to the Natzi soldiers. Yes. Because she had to be brave to keep her family so she said " that's my aunt Brite" so she can keep her family safe when the solders came. but then when the solders came mama had to say what happened. but then the solder slapped mama.
