Malaysia and Indonesia are two countries that are well known for their wonders of natures and foods. These two countries are included in the Asia continent. Malaysia is located in north of Indonesia while Indonesia is located between Hindi ocean and Pacific ocean. Although these two countries are located in South East Asia, there are some similarities and differences that can be detected between them.
Similarly, Malaysia and Indonesia have similarity in which almost all of their populations are muslims. In Malaysia, the percentage of the muslims population is 60.4% while Indonesia has nearly 88% of muslims population. Other than that, the similarity of both countries can be seen clearly by their type-body posture, different from European who has white skin, big body and blonde hair, or Africans who has black skin and big body posture. Malaysian and Indonesian who derived from homo wajakensis race has characteristic like brown skin, small body size, small nose, brown eyes and black hair. By the same token, both countries are located in the continent of Asia, specifically South East Asia.
Despite of the these similarities, there are also few differences which can be detected between Malaysia and Indonesia. The differences can be clearly identified in the aspect of population. Malaysia has a population of 30.3 million people and ranked 45th for the most populous country in the world. On the other hand, Indonesia has 258 million of population and ranked 4th place for the most populous country in the world. Another clear differences between these two countries are their form of government. Malaysia has a constitutional monarchy type of government, but on one hand, Indonesia uses the system of republic. Besides that, Malaysia uses the currency of Ringgit Malaysia and has Kuala Lumpur as its capital city. However, Indonesia is well known for Jakarta as the city of capital and using Rupiah in terms of currency. These two countries make a big difference in the aspect of infrastructures and development. Indonesia is a typical rural country and many out of 17 thousand islands are still untouched by the civilization. Indonesia does not has many high buildings due to constant seismic activity in the region. In contrast, Malaysia has a well-developed infrastructure and buildings all overthe country.
Malaysia and Indonesia do have few similarities and differences in different terms and aspects. Despite of the differences, the harmonious and peaceful conditions between the two countries must be hardly protected by the citizens and governments of both countries despite the fact that these countries played an important role in conveying the true image of Asia throughout the world. The threats and dangers towards these countries must be overcome efficiently by all parties from time to time.
