The E4 ident applies to the target audience of young adults because of how busy the ident is with the crazy things going on. I think the reason this ident is so busy is because each time you watch it, you see something new. This means it keeps viewers interested and wanting to keep watching it.

Student Digs Blah Blah Blah Ident

In this ident the E4 logo character is in his messy flat and goes to the fridge where he takes out a beer with the E4 logo on, he then rests his can on his dog who is in a purple basket with a purple helmet and we see him watching multiple old TVs with E4 on.

Film 4 Exploding Shack Ident

The tone of the ident is quite serious, it has live action instead of animation. It shows a boy running away from a fire near a shack in slow motion, with slow tempo music like you would hear in a lift, this contrasts with the image we see on screen. We then see the shack explode, also in slow motion with bits of wood flying everywhere. It is almost like something you would see on a film. The logo appears in slow motion as the explosion happens and we see the boy being thrown towards the screen. This creates a dark, dangerous tone.

My E4 title card

I created my title card for E4. I decided to use to colour purple as this is the colour that represents E4. I used the pool party image to appeal to the target audience for this channel, which is young adults.

If you were to make a title card, these are a few things you will need to remember:

- Fonts should be no smaller that 18pt and should be sans serif, this is because the serifs on a font affect the interlacing when it is broadcast and causes the text to go fuzzy.

- Fonts should also be bold to avoid fuzzing when broadcast.

- Your background image should reflect the target audience, or the shows coming on.

- You should leave a 10% margin of the background that you should leave free with no text, this is so that if certain televisions were to cut park of the image, the viewers would still be able to read the information being shown.
