From Cassy: Michael and Philip -- thanks for the tour of Behaviourism. I appreciate the summary table for operant conditioning with adding/removing on the 'y' axis and decrease behaviour/increase behaviour on the 'x' axis, and the resulting correlation to positive punishment, positive reinforcement, negative punishment and negative reinforcement. thanks.

Hello, yes I do use Nearpod in my class (and will be using it intensively in my new school as they have class sets of Chrome books). I find Nearpod a great formative assessment tool, although their data analytics are pretty basic and I have to export the data into excel. It is also a bit easier to setup vs google forms, although google forms are more robust (as they allow for open ended questions to be mixed in with multiple choice).
Michael Yates

Loved the Nearpod presentation style (have never used it previously), and enjoyed how you gamified the experience for us. This not only helped demonstrate what you were talking about, but made things fun, enjoyable, and engaging!

I'm also curious to know if either of you have used Nearpod in the classroom? Wondering about its applications for other areas of presentation/learning/teaching. Nice job!

Stephanie

Thank you for your hard work! I really enjoyed your presentation. A quick question... even though you mentioned that the Nearpod data analytics are pretty basic, I wonder where my and the other students' responses to the two open-ended questions go? Did you collect them? I saw the quiz results but I wonder about your intention of collecting the open-ended questions.

From Sunah

Loved the nearpod great tool! I really liked the formatting of the quizzes and the pace they set in your presentation. Great overview of behaviourism and I am a true believer in the power of behaviourism in gamification I have seen the power.
