-Apply Bowdin’s steps to your event idea from the previous step. Make sure that Bowdin’s steps are clearly visible and publish your steps on Padlet. Also, discuss the objectives and needs of different stakeholders. Make a link to what Bowdin says about stakeholders. 

New systems in crowd control and prediction: A sensor on your festival bracelet that you have to hold against a scanner thingy every time you enter or leave the festival site and that way they count how many people are at the festival. 

Food is sustainable/vegan/vegetarian, up to the latest trends. Food at festivals has become really important. ->  food truck festivals, sushi festival, vegetarian/vegan festivals etc. 

Events tend to be more accessible via social media and there is more engagement with the visitors through social media. 

New ways to make payments at festivals: A “Debit card” on which you put money, which you can only use at the festival to buy food or merchandise from 

Events are used to make impact on social and environmental interactions/environment -> a festival banned meat and fish to highlight the environmental impact. -> Events that don’t lead by a strong sense of ethics may become irrelevant to millennials. 

Feminism impacts music events -> Other festivals challenge the imbalance of female to male acts of line-ups, by actively booking more female talent. 

Events put focus on mental health -> some events have special mental health crew and boots to which you can go if you don’t feel well mentally, or which you can send a text message to. 

Unique venues: -> a stage on the water, a festival in the desert etc 

Involvement of public in making of the line-up, you can vote for the artists that you want to see at the festival. 

International meeting places; Sziget in Budapest is really focused on Dutch fans.
