Nesse sentido, o simpósio interessa-se em investigações sobre literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa, afro-brasileira, ameríndia e latino-americana em perspectiva comparada, discutindo metodologias do ensino dessas literaturas para a educação básica e superior. Serão bem-vindas pesquisas que abordam obras literárias que desenvolvem a figuração de práticas decoloniais, bem como investigações que esboçam propostas de ensino de literaturas. Partindo desses horizontes, pretendemos visibilizar a discussão de ações metodológicas que desenvolvam o processo de releitura e reescrita dos contatos, diálogos e interações na/além sala de aula. Sendo assim, o simpósio abrigará trabalhos que tenham como foco as práticas de ensino de literaturas, as literaturas no livro didático, as metodologias de ensino de literatura, a formação do professor de literaturas, a função da teoria, crítica e comparatismo na educação literária e a leitura literária na/além da escola/universidade.
