Freedom is never voluntarily given byt the oppressor: it must be demanded by the oppressed

MLK wanted freedom and equality with white men. He fought for this. He said it's complicated to have it. Segregation is the separation of Blacks and Whites in society. Blacks were oppressed because the Whites maintained them in an inferior position. Black people refused segregation through boycotts.

For peace, we must live together without considering differences such as the colour of the skin. If segregation is maintained, people will die as fools. MLK was in favour of integration, of considering whites and blacks as brothers.

MLK always considered people as a whole (together), as a contrary to Malcolm X who advocated the separation of society (a Black nation).

The right to vote was asked for years but Whites delayed it, because they didn't want Black to vote. The Jim Crow laws also established the separation of society: the phrase of Jim Crow was "separate but equal".

Hitler reached power legally: he got elected and had all the power. Everything he did was a collection of laws that were accepted. He made racist laws. He was violent too. MLK made a parrallel between Hitler and the Ku Klux Klan: they were racist, violent and influential (the people composing the KKK were important people: sheriffs, mayors, judges...).

Malcolm X and the Black Panther Party were violent and separationist. They felt hatred for Whites and the KKK and white racist felt hatred for whites. The law of retaliation (an eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth) is useless because it feeds hate instead of delete it. MLK chose love: he fought through speeches, demonstrations, etc...
