1. Networking has several benefits - including but not limited to providing information and knowledge, attaining new leads, skills and contacts.
2. Networking could be useful when in pursuit of a new job or career. Getting out of your comfort zone means doing something not done before or doing something extra - and that is what networking is all about.
3. The #1 tip I'd want to remember is networking requires initiative. I have to take the first step and be persistent to have successful networks.
