I'm more used to the 'piñata' where everyone tries to break it, and then the cake arrives, while everyone sings the 'mañanitas'. It's called "Hanal Pixan" and we build altars like in "Dia de muertos", however we normally put jicamas, grapefruits and oranges instead of bread and sugar skulls. We also eat "Mucbipollos", which are done in a curious way. You dig a hole in the ground and you cook it there until it's ready to eat.
