One of the major events that happened this year was the US elections. The US elections affected almost all Americans. The rich, the poor, the lgbtq, and people of color. This election had been competed by two main candidates Trump and Biden with very different viewpoints. Biden has more liberal views whilst Trump has more conservative views. Through a very rigorous election Biden had won the election with 4% more votes than Trump.

A lot of Injustice movements have sparked this year. Some include the Black Lives Matter movement and the Stop asian hate movement which has started due to the rise of hate crime against black and asian people. One right wing movement is a trump based movement they had raided the capitol due to Trump's loss. The Hongkong protests have as well been continuing to focusing on the oppression the Hong Kong people face from the Chinese government. And there have been several protests against the hijab ban in France as well as the conflict in Palestine and Israel.
