In the text, the main character is going through a rough time yet will not give up. What keeps people from giving up is hearing other people supporting them and believing in them. In the poem, the author provides things he is going through and pain. That could be like a signal to never give up no matter what. People work hard to get what they need and in the text it states, "Even if you are not ready for day it cannot always be night." Meaning if there is something that is scaring you, you should never listen to them and never ever give up because giving up only leads to not being successful, but having hope is so much more that could lead you to success. They know they can't give up what they have, and the people they love the most. In the passage the boy is going through a rough and scary time, but he knows that if he gives up, he won't go anywhere with that mindset. People need to be hearing supporters out there, they can feel special that somebody that loves him and believes in him, shows how much that person cares about you. In the passage the boy is struggling and trying not to give up, I agree with Merna Hadi because she says that that, can be a sign saying, that even though there are hard times life, don't give up by that little thing,  keep pushing your self to be a model and to prove that anything is possible, when we focus on that. "You will be right.
For that is the hard home-run." This quote is saying, that in the future when life knocks you down, you get right up because you can choose either to get up or stay down. People can't control you and you won't let them because you are what defines you.
