Because sometimes some kids have to wake up really early for school and don't have time eat breakfast so they have to wait 3 hours for lunch and especially 8th graders who have to wait 4 hours for lunch. And some kids at the end of the day are tired in 6th period and maybe need a little energy to get through the day. Especially some people on the way home have a long way to go on the bus so they have to wait another 3-4 hours to get home and have a snack.
