Sometimes, students do not feel comfortable asking questions in class, or even asking the teacher questions personally.

Collaborative processing allows students to work in groups of 3. Within this group of 3 you would have:

Student A:
Student B:
Student C:

Student A, B, and C would all meet. Student A would summarize the chunk of content that was just taught. Students B and C would add to Student A's summary. Then they would each discuss the areas of confusion they may have.

The teacher would meet with each group recording the confusion areas, and then those will be the areas that get retaught before a new chunk of information was presented.

After each chunk of content is taught, this process will start over. Students will rotate. For example, this time Student B should summarize and A and C will contribute more information to their summary.
