It was a very unusual day. The moon was shining and the stars were beaming its bright colors out. In bakersfield where quite literally everything mysterious occurred. Their grandma sent them to go check up on an “unusual” person. They kept dragging their feet to reach Dark Maine street. After many turns they reached the large street. The lights flicker, there was no light and no one outside. All the houses were unlighted and very most unwelcomed. They walked in shivering through the sound of the cricket. “Ok grandma!” Annie responded.
They start to leave when their grandma says to them “Her house is at the very back of the street! It is the one that has a white door.” Grandma quickly remarked before they started to leave.
“Ok!” responded Paula.
Soon enough, they are able to close the door behind them and start heading to Mrs. Weathers house at the back of the street. They are quite excited due to her playing bridge with them all the time when they were with grandma all the time. 

They quickly head for the bridge that goes over the river of the park that is next to their grandma's house. They quickly get over the bridge and start to jog to Mrs. Weather house. They are able to get to the sidewalk with ease and avoid any cars that are crossing. Finally, they come across a building that matches the description of the house that grandma told them it looked like. 
Just then, their eyes stare into this building and it looks like it's been rundown with a terrifying look to it.

You haven't been performing at Grandma’s because of what happened with your hip, right?” Annie asks. “Oh yes, I am doing very well actually, whenever I have the energy, I like to practice performing so I don’t lose my mojo.” Mrs. Weathers says. “Oh okay, well me and Paula are gonna leave now. My Grandma just wanted us to check on you to see how you’re doing.” Annie says while trying to leave. “No no no, why don’t you stay for some tea?” She says. “But Mrs. Weathers, I hate tea with a fiery passion.” Annie says. “Oh okay then I guess I’ll see you when I perform at your Grandmas. Bye kids!” She says. “Bye Mrs Weathers!” Paula and Annie both walk out the door and start walking home. “Hey Annie, do you actually hate tea? I always see you drinking it” Paula asks. “No, I actually love tea. I just want to make an excuse to leave that place.” Annie says.

Anna looks over and sights, “yeah..i feel like i’m gonna go missing after this.” Anna was now being dramatic as they arrived at the block, moving down the street looking at all the lumpy houses, they finally see the house of Mrs. Weathers at the corners of their eyes.

“You see, she broke her hip and hasn’t come in over a month,” grandma explained, “Oh! Do you guys think you could pay her a visit and check up on her? She lives just down the street in the house with the white door. Just in case she needs anything and is unable to get it in her current state.”

The pair seemed to have been deeply disturbed at the thought of visiting the eerie house, but they agreed nonetheless.
