We came to the conclusion that in aspects such as sound, sight, and touch, the way you perceive food can be altered. The other tests are more then likely able to pass. Depending on the scenarios, it seems that your mind can send mixed signals to your taste buds.

Our five senses include, sight, touch, sound, taste, and smell. We have designed five basic tests to see if these senses being put together can actually change the way you taste them. The tests include: feeding our test subjects food while they smell another in hopes that the smell will override their sense of taste. Another test is to have them try four different cups of water with different flavorings that contain, salty, sweet, bitter and sour tastes. For the touch portion, we plan to have the subjects feel something while we feed them another food that is totally different. For another part, we will have them try foods silently and then have them taste the exact same food again while listening to certain types of music. Lastly we will give the test subjects the same food on two different types of kitchen ware to see if one tasted any different by appearance.
