The Estheticians in my discourse community, are from all over the world. We all communicate through a Facebook group. Being part of this community has been very helpful to me at times. If I have a client with a complicated skin issue that could be out f my scope of practice, I can quickly message the group and within seconds will have a response of which type of physician to recommend or a product or specific uv light treatment. Being apart of this community is very rewarding. It’s a great feeling when you can help another member in the community. Further more their client. We generally all share the same goal, which is optimal skin health for all our clients. One place a lot of communication occurs in the fishing community is at tackle shops. Myself and other anglers often like to discuss recent catches, or new techniques and lures. Serious anglers are often not likely to share information such as fishing locations. The common goal of those in the fishing community is to catch fish and enjoy the outdoors, while maintaining a respect for our waters.
