Neighbor Anna Tejeda was sitting on her porch with friends when they heard someone across the street kicking a door and yelling.

Tejeda, 50, said one of her friends went over and told Berry how to kick the screen out of the bottom of the door, which allowed her to get out.

This is what happens when someone gets a chance to be free from captivity. They have to try to get attention for other people to help them because if you get kidnapped its a horrible experience for the person the got kidnapped. When someone gets kidnapped they get sexually and physically abused in the story Ariel Castro kidnapped three girls for 10 years and he ''trained'' the girls to say were and how he did that was that when one of the girls came out just a bit then he would pop out and then they would either gets hit or raped.

There are 800,000 kidnappings each year and that's about 2,000 per day that's a lot of kidnappings. These kidnappings are not just for one day it can span to 1 month - 10 years plus. Even if it's just one month that month can traumatize you.You might not even to go outside because of that experience.  797,500 children. If amber alerts did not exist, people would not be alerted quickly to report suspicious vehicles and suspicious activity. Because of this technology, it aware's the police and the community to help find people sooner
