FICTION - MYTH

http://www.theoi.com/Pontios/Graiai.html

How does this source relate to your topic? This source relates to my topic because this article explains a lot what twins have to deal with, SHARING. These witches are known as the Stygian Sisters, they are creatures of mythology. These witches are all sisters and they ALL share ONE eye and ONE tooth. This relates to my topic because twins always have to share everything. They share clothes, video games, even sometimes rooms. Sharing can always break out into a fight or arguments. These sisters always argued and fought over the eye and who used it first and things like that.

How did reading or viewing the source help you understand your topic better?
This reading helped me understand this topic better because the selection relates to the topic of sharing. You might think that yeah everyone shares but twins have to share everything These Mythical creatures help the reader understand because the sisters and the twins relate so much.

How did the creator of the text get these ideas across to the reader or viewer?
The creator of the text got the point across by giving detail about the sisters background and about howthey got into sharing just one eye. Even though this has nothing to do with twins this myth help you have a thought about what a twin has to deal with everyday sharing with the other twin.

How does this source relate to your source? This source relates to my topic because this painting is a pair of soul twins and it explains that the twins are so similar but at the same time they are both different. Even though they might hate each other times they're still one.
How did the viewing the source help you understand your topic better?
This helped me understand my topic better because it shows how different each one is but at the same time they influence each other. They teach other new things everyday but at the same time they are very different so they are both individual and have their own uniqueness.
How did the creator of the text get these ideas across to the reader?
The creator got the point across by using the contrast of colors to overtake the eyes of the viewer. One twin is a dark color while the other one is a lighter color. They both touch each other and take one little spot pf there color into there hearts. This has lots of meaning that is very emotional if you think about it. They both hold each other in there arms.
