Secondly, in the new curriculum schedule, students will have ELTPs course from 2 grade to 12 grade. Thirdly, students will be expected to understand the target language, learn the colloquial language, read reading passages, understand what they read, respect to cultural diversity, appreciate the social traditions, cultural elements, language diversity. Lastly, there is a passage which claims that they started a study for preparation classroom for 1,5 and 9 graders in Hurriyet newspapers explanation, but it mentions that there is nothing about this study in this new curriculum yet.

The reasons why they did are technological developments, changing human needs, perception of information etc. They focused on ten root values which I personally love them to see in the curricula because we as teachers do not teach them only academic knowledge, but we try to make changes in their behaviours and affective issues. What I would like to learn more about when will the next change be taken place in the curriculum since I will be graduated from university in 3 years and become a teacher so I have to keep up with the news about education as well as technology. What I have not truly understood is if they changed the lesson hours in the schedule or not. I couldn’t get it from the table in the article.
