Bullying usually starts by one person that intentionally hurts someone internally by like words or by physically hurting by like kicking or punching someone. Most often the bullier bullies someone else because they got bullied and they want to make the person getting bullied feel what they felt. Bullying is a thing that someone does on and on multiple times. Bullying can lead to multiple people bullying one person or more by the start of one person bullying another person.

Bullying is a problem because it can make someone feels sad, mad, and/or depressed. It could make people feel like they don't matter. Some people commit suicide because of bullying. Bullying makes people feel like they don't exist when in reality, they do. Bullies don't care if they hurt someone until that person who they are bullying, does something terrible and then the bully actually starts to feel bad about. People usually hurt others because they have been hurt, or they just don't like that one person. Bullying is one of the biggest problems at any public school.

It is hard to tell people what to do. Especially when they are going through something. People usually act like their parents, because they are the people they have been around ever since they were babies. If someone's parent are mean or condescending then their children might pick up on that. Some people grow to be mean and they will intentionally hurt their peers so they can feel better about themselves, because they want to think they don't have the worst life. They want to think that others do. Bullies need to learn about their peers' lives. Not too much, but enough to make them get to know that they aren't the only ones going through something. They might think they have a perfect life and they always get what they want, but they could be horribly wrong and only make them feel worse.

The most likely reasons bullying starts, may be because the bully would be holding a grudge against their victim. The bully may even have a troubled past themselves, and they'll feel the need to take it out on someone else. Or, maybe the bully just doesn't like something about the victim (personality, clothes, speech, looks, etc.) But whatever the reason may be, I know for a fact that it still isn't ok to bully someone.

Most bullies now days use force to bully. Ways to fight back against bullies is to tell an adult/teacher, ask a student to help you get past the bully, or just ignore them. Bullying can be stopped, we all just need to pitch in a little.

We can reduce bullying by starting groups to help people who were bullied, or by having our states create laws against bullying. We can also talk to other kids, set examples for other kids, watch for changes in behaviour, then treating the problem. One example of an abstract solution to the problem is making a video to promote respect and encourages kindness. (Newsela) Some schools also give out tokens if a student stops others from bullying, or welcoming a new student (Newsela). If the world puts thought into coming up with solutions, bullying will be gone in only a few decades.

Bullying can be prevented in several ways. Some ways are more effective than others. Sometimes, bullying can be prevented by other students. I mean I understand that bystanders will be bystanders but they can take a stand! I don't really recommend stepping in if you could be punched and whatnot but that's just bravery I guess. I mean the can be several measures that we all can take. Verbal bullying can't just be solved by a case of he said, she said. Well kind of but, that's not the point. You need to be able to have "viable evidence." Everyone can help each other. The point is, a little help goes a long way.

It can mostly start with someone getting on someone elses nerves. Usually someone did something that the other person did not like. So that person basically just wants payback. Another way that it can start is by someone usually is already been or is now being bullies and they want to get payback to show what it feels like. So that just keeps going on forever, but we could just find a way to just end bullying.
