An example was in France with Luigi XIV.
COSTITUTIONAL MONARCHY - It is a governament where there is a king but he is flanked by a bicameral parlament , which can discuss all the king's decisions.

During the Charles I's period there was a  civil war between the king and the parliament. After Charles I there was his son Charles II. When Carlo II died, the parliament decided to stop Carlo II's dynasty, because he was Catholic, and the parliament was protestant (Puritans)
