Most of the things she talks about in the song are about the hate she is receiving. She talks about her identity and her daughter. Speaking of her audience Beyoncé addresses multiple audiences in this song. Her first audience is her haters. The second audience is people involved in police brutality against black people and discrimination. She uses the appeals of ethos and logos in the lyrics and the appeals of pathos and logos in the video to get these messages across. The ethos in these lyrics is her describing her own identity and where she is from. Which demonstrates that she is proud to be from there.
Talking about being proud of where she is from she also mentions the descriptions of how other racist non-black people view black people in an insulting way. We can see here in the lyrics where she says "I like my baby heir with baby hair and afros
I like my negro nose with Jackson Five nostrils"
The words are the words of her haters and for people that discriminate against Afro hairstyles. She made this comment because a lot of people mocked her daughter Blue Ivy when she was presented to the public with an afro hairstyle. Another fact that she speaks about in the lyrics "I might get your song played on the radio station, cause I slay" the reason she says that is because she knows her worth and the impact she has a celebrity in her community. And yeah "The Beyoncé" can get your song played on the radio somewhere if she wants to. She knows how big of an impact she is and could be.
