         <description><![CDATA[<div>-The Declaration of Independence announced the war between the the thirteen colonies and great Britain.<br>-The treaty of Paris was officially the end of the revolutionary war, making America a free country with it's own rules.<br>-The articles of confederation was Americas first attempt at an organized government and was the ill conceived articles  of confederation and created laws.<br>-The constitutional convention resulted in the elimination of the articles of confederation and the formation of a new, more effective government and constitution.<br>-The bill of rights was believed to be not a necessary part of the constitution, and it was never the less included. The bill of rights is the first ten amendments to the U.S. constitution.  </div>]]></description>

It announced that the American 13 colonies now had freedom and were not under British rule.<br><br>- Another result was when the Treaty of Paris was signed. When this happened it also gave the colonies their Independence from Great Britain. The 13 states were now free to join together and become the United States of America.&nbsp; They could now form their own government and make their own laws. This freedom was an important effect because if the revolution had not taken place we might still be under British rule today.</div>]]></description>
